Design for Momus’ three-CD album Turpsy­core. ‘Turp­sy­core’ is a de­lib­er­ate mis­spelling of ‘Terp­si­chore,’ the Greek god­dess of de­light and danc­ing. It ref­er­ences both ‘turps’ (tur­pen­tine) and ‘tur­pi­tude.’ The col­ors and pat­terns are de­riv­ed from an­cient Greece’s poly­chrome tech­nique.
